Speech ---- Kashiwagi Yuki’s Election Acceptance Speech To those who cheered me on, thank you very much! Fans always tell me that the election is a way to pay me back for always supporting them. They always say “We’re working hard together” and I always think about how I am always being supported by all of you instead. I am a 3rd generation member, so I am a senpai and a kouhai at the same time. That being said, I don’t have the confidence to tell my kouhai to come at me, nor do I push their backs forward. I feel inept during those moments. Like all of you have families that you treasure, AKB is my treasure. Standing on stage, going to handshake events and talking to you all, I really am blessed. From now on I would want AKB to continue for 10, 20, 30 years and continue to be loved by everyone else. And it might be selfish to say this but I would want everyone to tell their future children and grandchildren ‘There was an idol back then named Kashiwagi Yuki and she was really amazing’. I know I’m 4th this year but seeing all these members move forward and seeing the staff and fans support us makes me realize how I blessed I am. I joined SKE48 when I was 11 years old and I’m currently holding a concurrent position in SKE48 and AKB48. I’m standing on this stage right now, but if I didn’t take the audition at that time, if I hadn’t joined SKE48, I objectively think that I’d be watching this Sousenkyo on TV by now. If I think about that, the fact itself that I’m standing on this stage feels weird and I can also perceive fate in it. Up until now I’ve always recklessly run forward, but as I turned 16 I started to worry about lots of things, wondering what I should do from now on and things like that. But as I thought I have so many people watching over me and supporting me I was able to feel a bit relieved. Even during hand-shake events, I had many fans telling me “Let’s aim at n°1 this time!” and that made me feel like it’s fine for me to want to become n°1 and to say it out loud! From now on I want to become able to take the lead of the 48 Group. Lastly, allow me to say this. Seeing the results of this Elections, I was able to realize that SKE48 can still move more and more forward! So, representing SKE48, let me say: Thank you so much. Please keep taking care of SKE48, AKB48 and Matsui Jurina. Thank you so much!! Host: You were 4th in the preliminary results. Did you actually believed, or desired for that to become the actual result? Jurina: Well, I did feel like I didn’t want to see my position drop from that of the preliminaries, but…that result was actually way higher than I was expecting so, on the contrary, it even made me feel anxious. But I managed to be granted this wonderful position - the 6th - so right now I feel relieved and I’m able to wish to go higher. Thank you. Host: How do you feel about your first time among the 7? Jurina: Yeah…Well, I’ve had lots of fans telling me “Let’s pull down the Kami 7!”, so… I wonder… Right now they’re all saying it’s time for the alternation of generations, but many things make me wonder whether it’s really like that or not. Looking closely at my seniors I can see how amazing they are and how many things we have to learn from them, and that always makes me feel like we still have a very very long way to go before reaching them… But well, in order to properly do the alternation of generations, I’d like if the chances for the young members to step forward and show themselves would increse! -------- So happy~ my baby~ talented, charismatic, and an amazingly hardworker at just 16 yrs old. There are alot of room for potential growth. I feel bad that she’s stuck between AKB and SKE. It make it so hard for people to accept her even though it’s all on management, not Jurina... :\

She was my first oshi so this suck..........but since she have her fashion stores, she’ll probably do fine outside of AKB so I’m fine with it. Mariko acted like AKB’s mother. She always upload pictures with younger AKB members on her twitter to help promote them and gave Abemaru (who want to be model) and Ami jobs modeling her clothes. She was the first person to talk to Jurina during Oogoe when everyone was like who the hell is she and always looked out for Jurina. Jurina is obviously really upset about her big sister not being there too...but I think it’s fine...Mariko no longer need AKB anyway and she only stayed so far out because AKB still need top members’ popularity.

I made up my mind various things, or sometimes I felt frustrated and I wanted to run away. But at those times what always gave me a supportive push forward was the result of 4th General Election held last year. Bonds among my fans, bonds between my fans and me and a lot of love from my fans... I was supported by them. And when I couldn’t make progress after I held a concurrent position, those bonds and love always gave me a supportive push forward. Now next generation members of AKB48 are pushed. They are certainly cute, nice figures and good at the way of presentation. But as for doing one’s best or performing that is most necesssary for 48groups, I am superior to my junior so far. And I’m sorry to annouce suddenly but although I was told to hold a concurrent position with AKB48 at Nippon Budokan the other day, I shall focus on SNH48. Possibilities of SNH48 members are not clear yet. And furthermore I have no idea when I will be able to appear on the stage with them. But I don’t want to show you my ungainly appearance, so I want to devote all my energies to only SNH48. Now as I’m selected as Senbatsu member of next CD single, I’ll show you my new aspects so that not only my fans but also those who support 48groups will think Sae Miyazawa is necessary for the Senbatsu members after all. I already expected Paruru would make senbatsu but it still doesn’t sting less. She’s talentless, useless and don’t even try to better that. Why do the host even have to tell you to talk more? She was basically like "Kay..thx for the votes..bye" on stage. You would think being so basic that she wouldn’t have fans beyond 2 digits but I guess there are that many people who like any random chick that can only look cute.
